EC gives clean chit to Rahul Gandhi over alleged MCC violation

Election Commission has given clean chit to Congress President Rahul Gandhi in a complaint concerning alleged violation of Model Code of Conduct in a speech in Sihora, Madhya Pradesh. In a statement, the commission said, the matter has been examined in detail in accordance with the



extant advisories, provisions of the Model Code of Conduct. 

It said, after examination of complete tran of speech sent by the DEO Jabalpur, the Election Commission is of the considered view that no such violation occurred.
