EC issues show cause notice to Anurag Thakur for alleged controversial remarks

Election Commission yesterday issued notice to BJP MP and Union Minister Anurag Thakur for the alleged controversial remarks during the election campaign rally in Budh Vihar, Delhi.

The commission has sought a

reply from Mr Thakur by this Thursday. The notice was issued after the Delhi CEO yesterday submitted a report to the Election Commission on the provocative language used by Mr Thakur.
