EC seeks report from MP CEO over BJP's Pragya Thakur's remarks

Election Commission has sought a report from Madhya Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer on BJP leader Pragya Singh Thakur's controversial remarks about Nathuram Godse.

She is the BJP candidate from Bhopal Lok Sabha

seat.

Several opposition parties criticized BJP following the remarks.

Later, Pragya Singh tendered an apology saying she respects Mahatma Gandhi as his work for the country cannot be forgotten.
