The Election Commission team will visit Mumbai today to review of the state's poll preparedness.
Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora will interact with various stakeholders for the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly elections.
According to State Election Commission officials, Arora along with Election Commissioners Ashok Lavasa and Sushil Chandra will hold meetings with civil
administration and police officials besides leaders of various political parties to take stock of the state's poll readiness.
The officials said that the meetings would be spread over a span of two days.
The term of the 288-member Maharashtra Assembly ends on 9th of November and a new assembly has to be constituted before that.
