ECI finalises delimitation order for Assembly & Parliamentary Constituencies of Assam

The Election Commission of India (ECI) has retained the number of Assam Legislative Assembly seats at 126 and Lok Sabha seats at 14. The ECI finalised the delimitation order after considering a total of 1,222 representations. In the legislative assembly, nine seats are allocated for Scheduled Castes and one seat is allocated



for SCs in the Lok Sabha.
