ECI releases final voter list after special brief revision programme for Maharashtra

The Election Commission of India has released the final voter list on Thursday after a special brief revision programme. Accordingly, there are about 9 crore 3 lakh voters in Maharashtra. Of these, more than 4 crore 71 thousand are male and more than 4 crore 31 lakh are female and about 5 thousand are transgender



voters. 

More than 4 lakh 43 thousand voters have been added in this compared to last time's voter list. It includes more than 2 lakh men, more than 2 lakh 32 thousand women and 670 transgender. Currently there are more than 7 lakh disabled voters in the state.
