ECI to hold one-day training for senior officials from five states on votes counting procedures

Election Commission of India, ECI will hold one-day training programme for senior officials from five states in Chennai today on votes counting procedures. 

The Chief Electoral Officers, District Election Officers and Returning Officers from the states of Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Kerala  and the two Union Territories of



Puducherry and Lakshadweeps will participate in the programme. 

Deputy Election Commissioners of the ECI, Dr Sandeep Saxena and Sudeep Jain will give the training. Later, they are scheduled to inspect the model counting centre at the Anna University premises in the city.
