In Himachal Pradesh, a Digi-Dhan Mela was organized in Shimla in which more than 19 nationalized and private banks participated yesterday. Presiding over the function, Union Health and Family Welfare Minister JP Nadda said that economy is improving and strengthening more and more with Digi-dhan system. Forget cash and go digital was clarion call at the first Digi-Dhan Mela held in Shimla. Thousands of common people and traders visited in the day-long Mela and enquired about different cashless systems. Officials of nearly 19 nationalized and private banks briefed the visitors on cashless system and use of different electronic payment modes.
