Enforcement Directorate has registered a case against Former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Associated Journal Limited, the publisher of National Herald newspaper for alleged Money Laundering. 
It said, that When Hooda was the chief minister, he allocated the land to Associated Journal Ltd in Panchkula under wrong terms. Earlier,



Haryana Vigilance department had also registered an FIR against Mr Hooda, who was then chairman of Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA).
The FIR also alleged that ineligible beneficiaries were alloted plots at rates lesser than the prevailing market rates, causing financial loss to the tune of several crores of rupees to the state exchequer.
