ED raids various places in West Bengal over fake passport case

Enforcement Directorate ED is conducting raids at various places in West Bengal, including Kolkata, in connection with a fake passport case. The raid is being conducted under the Foreigners Act case. Recently, there have been various incidents of illegal infiltration with fake documents. ED is conducting the raids at Bekbagan,



Birati of Kolkata, Gede in Nadia district and other places of Bengal.

Sources said the federal agency also seized some incriminating documents like Bangladesh national identity cards as well as Hawala-related links during the search operations
