ED seizes Jharkhand CM's BMW, concludes search at Delhi residence

Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials, including the seizure of Chief Minister Hemant Soren's BMW car, conducted a search operation at his Delhi residence at Shanti Niketan, 5/1 in an escalation of the investigation. The ED team reportedly brought along the driver for further inquiries, broadening the scope of their investigation into the financial aspects surrounding the Chief Minister. During the search, officers find documents inside Soren's car, promptly securing them as part of the ongoing inquiry. Following the search of the vehicle, ED officials re-entered Soren's residence to continue their



investigation into alleged financial irregularities.

However, there's still no trace of Hemant Soren, and the situation raises eyebrows as the Chief Minister of a state seems to be missing due to the fear of ED. Although the Chief Minister's office in Jharkhand has confirmed that Hemant Soren will appear for the ED investigation on January 31, his whereabouts remain unknown, adding an element of surprise to the unfolding events.
