EFLU to begin virtual classes from 27 August

University of English and Foreign Languages ​​(EFLU) starts online classes for students of semesters III and V from 27 August, students must register for the courses from 24 to 26 August, and the last date for final registration is 29 August.

On Friday, the EFLU issued a circular presenting the academic calendar 2020-21 for undergraduate, postgraduate and teacher training.

In the circular, the EFLU said that due to the Covid-19 pandemic, classes could not be scheduled in the first week of August.  Therefore, it is proposed to comply with the UGC regulations 2018, to adopt a six-day weekly



pattern instead of a five-day weekly pattern.

The university will conduct the first internal assessment from 23 to 30 September, the second internal assessment from 22 to 29 October and the third internal assessment from 23 to 28 November.

The last day of instruction for students of semesters III and V is 10 December and final examinations are scheduled from 18 to 30 December, while results will be declared on 16 January 2021.

The course work for students of semesters IV and VI starts from 21 January 2021 and for that students have to register for the courses from 18 to 20 January.
