Eid Milad-un-Nabi is being celebrated today

Eid Milad-un-Nabi, the birthday of Prophet Muhammad is being celebrated with religious fervour in various parts of the country today.

"Milad Mehfils" and "Seerat Conferences" will be held to highlight the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad. Milad processions are also being organised in the morning to mark the occasion.

   



 

In Delhi, the main procession will be taken out in a walled city, which will culminate at Jama Masjid after passing through the traditional route.

President Ram Nath Kovind and Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu have greeted people on the occasion of Milad-un-Nabi marking the birthday of Prophet Muhammed.
