Eid Ul Fitr celebrated across the country

Eid Ul Fitr is being celebrated with traditional fervour and gaiety across the country yesterday. The festival marks the culmination of the holy month of Ramzan. 

The faithful are offering prayers at Eidgahs and various mosques. Special Prayers, feasts and mutual exchange of Eid greetings mark the celebrations. 

President Ram Nath Kovind, Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have greeted the people on the occasion. 

In the National Capital, Eid congregations are being held at Jama Masjid, Fatehpuri Masjid, Eidgah and various mosques.

In Uttar Pradesh, Eid-Ul-Fitr, the festival of love and



joy, is being celebrated with traditional fervour and gaiety. People offered special prayers at various mosques this morning. The administration has made elaborate arrangements of cleanliness and security around the main mosques in Lucknow, Kanpur, Allahabad, Varanasi, Meerut and other cities.

Eid-ul-Fitr, which marks the culmination of the Muslim holy month of Ramzan, is being celebrated across the Madhya Pradesh. Elaborate security arrangement has been made by the police across the state. 

Telangana Governor ESL Narasimhan, Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao and leaders of several political parties extended greetings to people on the occasion.
