Chief Election Commission will visit poll-bound Haryana today to take stock of the preparedness of assembly elections in the state. During the two-day visit, Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora along with election commissioners Ashok Lavasa and Sushil Chandra will be holding a series of meetings with various stake-holders. They will also hold meetings with the state's chief electoral officer, police and the representatives of various political parties.
With a few days to go for Haryana Assembly polls, a galaxy of top BJP leaders,
including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will be campaigning in the state over the next few days. Union Home Minister and BJP President Amit Shah will address three public meetings in Kaithal, Bhiwani and Rohtak districts today.
On Monday, he will address rallies in Fatehabad, Panchkula, Karnal and Gurgaon.
Party's working president JP Nadda and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also address election meetings in the run-up to the polls.
