In Karnataka, elections are being held for three graduates and three Teachers constituencies for filling six vacant seats in the Legislative Council. The voting, which began at 8 AM, will end at 4 PM. The Graduates constituencies have a total of 3.63 lakh voters and the Teachers constituencies have



70,260 voters. 

The Election Commission has established 170 polling stations for Teachers and 461 for the Graduates constituencies. There are 78 candidates in fray. The counting of the votes will be held on June 6th.
