Elections of Junagadh Municipal Corporation to held on July 21 in Gujarat

In Gujarat, the elections of Junagadh Municipal Corporation will be held on 21st July. State Election Commission has announced the poll schedule for Junagadh Municipal Corporation yesterday. Secretary of the State Election Commission Mahesh Joshi told that the notification for the poll would be issued on 1st July on which, the filing of nominations will begin. 

The scrutiny of nomination papers would be done on 8th July, while the names



could be withdrawn till 9th July.

The polling would be held on Sunday- 21st July from 8 am to 5 pm, while counting of votes will be carried out on 23rd July. 

State Election Commission has also announced the by-polling of ward 3 of Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation simultaneously. Ruling BJP is in power in all eight Municipal Corporations in the state including Junagadh
