Encounter breaks out between terrorists, security forces in Anantnag dist

In Jammu & Kashmir, an encounter broke out between security forces and terrorists in Anantnag District early this morning.  

The gunfight started when security forces launched a search and cordon operation at Kotwali Gali in Lal Chowk



area. 

In a tweet, State DGP SP Vaid said, security forces launched the operation following the intelligence input about the presence of terrorists in the area. Dr Vaid said, two Lashkar-e-Toiba terrorists are trapped at the encounter site.
