Encounter breaks out in Kupwara, operations underway

An encounter is underway between security forces and terrorists in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.  The gunfight started early morning when security forces launched a joint search operation in Kupwara after an



input about the presence of militants in the area.

A large number of security forces have been deployed in the area to ensure no militant escapes from the cordon.
