In Karnataka, enforcement agencies made seizures of cash, liquor, and other articles totaling nearly 150 crore rupees since the model code of conduct came into force in poll bound State on the 29th of March. The seizures include cash to the tune of 61 crore rupees, liquor worth 33 crore rupees, precious metals 24 crore rupees, freebies 18 crore rupees and drugs and narcotics 13 crore



rupees.

The authorities have filed 1262 FIRs after a seizure. Goods worth 58 crore were seized between the 9th of March to the 27th of March. The Election Commission has received 503 complaints against media including social media on the violation of Model Code of Conduct. The Commission has disposed of 503 complaints
