The Enforcement Directorate (ED) of India on Saturday conducted raids at Congress' Jagdish Sharma's residence in the national capital on Saturday.
"I am being taken (by Enforcement Directorate) for questioning," Sharma told media.
Robert Vadra is being framed. Modi government wants to trap Robert Vadra, said Sharma, who is believed to be a close aide of Vadra.
"Searches are on at my residence. What will they get when there is nothing. They are taking me to ED
office for questioning," Sharma told ANI.
On Friday, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) carried out searches against three people linked to Congress leader Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra in connection with its probe into alleged 'commissions received by some suspects in defence deals' and illegal assets stashed abroad.
The Congress reacted sharply to the ED action and said an 'unnerved' Modi government was unleashing 'vendetta' against party chief Rahul Gandhi's brother-in-law to divert the narrative.
