Various exit polls indicate a victory for Bharatiya Janata Party in the Maharashtra and Haryana Assembly elections conducted yesterday.
India Today-My Axis poll predicts 181 out of total 288 seats for BJP-Shivsena in Maharashtra, 81 for Congress-NCP alliance and 26 for others.
Times Now exit poll predicts 230 seats for the BJP-Shivsena in Maharashtra, 48 for Congress-NCP and 10 for others. CNN-News18 IPSOS predicts BJP-Shiv Sena to win 243 seats for BJP-Sena combine in Maharashtra, 41 for Congress-NCP and 4 for
others. ABP- CVoter poll predicts 204 seats for BJP-Sena combine in Maharashtra, 69 for Congress-NCP and 15 for others.
The ABP News-CVoter forecast 72 seats for the ruling BJP in the 90-member House in Haryana, while the Congress is projected to win only eight seats. The Times Now survey gave the BJP and the Congress 71 and 11 seats. The CNN-IPSOS projected 75 and 10 seats for BJP and Congress.
The voting for assembly polls in both the states was held yesterday. The results will be out on Thursday.
