Farmer Unions have objected to Delhi Police playing songs on loudspeaker at the Singhu Border where the farmers are protesting against the new farm laws passed by the Centre.

As per a press note from Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Samiti, one of the demands of the farmers, before they can go ahead with talks with the Centre, is to shut down the loudspeakers of the Delhi Police being used to play songs at Singhu Border.

A video has also emerged where the song 'Sandese Aate Hain'

from the Bollywood film 'Border' can be heard playing on a loudspeaker. Heavy security deployment can also be seen in the video.

The farmer union has also demanded that the Delhi Police release those farmers arrested after the Republic Day violence, resumption of water, washrooms and internet services at the protest sites, among others.

Farmers’ protest sites at Delhi’s borders have turned into fortresses on Monday as police beefed up security and strengthened barricades.
