Bengaluru : A 55-year-old man and his 19-year-old daughter were killed in Bengaluru after an electricity transformer exploded near them.

The two were returning after booking a marriage hall as Chaitanya was due to be married next month. Shivaraj, the father was driving the two-wheeler and had to slow down due to a pothole on the

road.

This led to their unfortunate deaths, deaths which remain unavenged and justice is yet to be found. As if to add salt to the wounds, when Times Network asked questions on the tragedy, Karnataka's energy minister V. Sunil Kumar evaded the questions. This has led to widespread anger among the public with many demanding that the authorities should be punished.
