In Bihar, fear of epidemic outbreak looms large in flood affected areas of the state. Over one thousand three hundred dengue cases have been reported through out the state.
About seven hundred has been reported from state capital itself. Many low lying areas of Patna remained water logged. The state government as well Central govern has deputed doctors in affected areas.
Over 22 lakh people spread over one thousand four villages of 15 districts, including Patna, Nalanda, Katihar and Khagaria are reeling under the impact of floods.
Rail services on Patna- Gaya and Bakhatiarpur- Rajgir section of East Central Railways has been restored after removing of flood water from railway track.
