In Maharashtra, due to rising COVID19 cases few more districts have imposed several restrictions to avoid public gathering. Thane Municipal corporation has marked some areas as hotspots where more number of patients tested positive. Lockdown is imposed in these areas till 31st March.
All the School and colleges will be closed in Nashik, Malegaon, Niphad and Nandgaon Taluka Except for 10th and 12th standard students. Marriage functions can be organised till 15th March, later on no public gathering will be
allowed without prior permission. Except for essential services, all the shops will be closed by 7pm. Religious places will be shut on weekends and on weekdays, devotees will have to strictly follow COVID19 guidelines.
The Beed district collector has made the Antigen test mandatory to all the shop owners. In Parbhani, all the staff in government offices are asked to undergo RTPCR Test. In Ahmednagar district, a maximum of only 50 persons are allowed in marriage ceremonies.
