Finance Ministry informs that Rs 2000 currency notes have not been printed from last 2-year

The Finance Ministry has informed that two thousand rupee currency notes have not been printed from the last two years. In a written reply in the Lok Sabha today, Minister

of State for Finance Anurag Thakur said that no indent has been placed with the presses for printing of 2000 rupee denomination banknotes during the years 2019-20 and 2020-21.
