FIR registered against BJP's Babul Supriyo for entering polling booth

An FIR has been registered against BJP candidate and Union Minister Babul Supriyo for allegedly entering a polling station in Asansol Lok Sabha constituency of  West Bengal with his security guards. 

The action has been taken on the instruction of Election



Commission. 

This was informed by Deputy Election Commissioner Sudip Jain in New Delhi. 

He said, a case has also been lodged against unknown persons for allegedly damaging the vehicle of Babul Supriyo. 

The Minister is contesting from this seat.
