Firing between suspected Kuki insurgents and security forces in Bishnupur district, Manipur

In Manipur, heavy exchange of bullets between suspected Kuki insurgents and combined force of village guards and security forces has been taking place in three different locations in Bishnupur district of Manipur.

 

The Police report said that the firing incident started today early morning and continued till the filling of this news report.

 

In



the incidents, four village guards sustained bullet injuries and they are getting treatment at a private hospital in Imphal.

 

The suspected Kuki insurgents also fired bullets at BSF camps installed at Santikhongbam in Imphal East district this afternoon. The BSF jawans retaliated and repelled the armed miscreants.
