Union Culture and Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Minister of State for Coal and Mines Satish Chandra Dubey yesterday unveiled the first-ever coal gallery at the National Science Centre in New Delhi. 

The exhibition – ‘Black Diamond – Unveiling the Depths’ – is based on the lifespan of coal and aims to provide information about the discovery of



coal, the Coal extraction process, techniques used to extract coal, and the mining of minerals. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Shekhawat said, this exhibition gives real experience about coal and other minerals.

This exhibition is open from 9.30 AM to 6 PM daily and visitors may visit it by purchasing tickets at the National Science Center.
