FM Nirmala Sitaraman inaugurates new Aayakar Bhavan of Income Tax Department in Kochi

Kochi: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman inaugurated the new Aayakar Bhavan of the Income Tax Department in Kochi on Friday (24 November 2023). The new building was constructed at the cost of about 64 crore rupees.

The Minister released "Tax Deductors Guide 2023,  a compendium of



provisions of TDS in Malayalam on the occasion. She also distributed models of Chandrayaan to students of Government schools to encourage them to develop a scientific temper.

CBDT Chairman Nitin Gupta, member Sanjai Kumar Verma were among those who attended the function.
