Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale is arriving in Kathmandu this morning on a two-day visit to Nepal.
In Kathmandu, Mr Gokhale will have bilateral meeting with his Nepalese counterpart Shankar Das Bairagi.
The two Foreign Secretaries will discuss wide range of bilateral issues. They are expected to asses progress of various projects including
Motihari-Amlekhgunj oil pipeline, Railways and Aurn III Hydro power Project.
In the wake of last month's terror attack in Pulwama, the issue of combating terrorism is also likely to be discussed. Foreign Secretary will pay courtesy call to Nepal's Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali.
