Former Congress leader Hardik Patel joins BJP

Former Congress leader Hardik Patel has joined BJP in the presence of State BJP President C.R.Patil and senior party leader Nitin Patel. Hardik Patel reached BJP state headquarters Kamalam in Gandhinagar by organizing a roadshow from Koba.

Former working president of Gujarat Congress Hardik Patel resigned from all posts of party on 17th of last month.

Earlier to this, another former Congress leader Shweta Brahmbhatt also joined BJP



along with her 500 supporters. She contested the 2017 Gujarat assembly elections from Maninagar constituency on Congress ticket and lost. 35-year-old Shweta Brahmbhatt quit the Congress party last month.

Hardik Patel, the young face of the Patidar community performed Puja and Gau Seva before joining the BJP. In a Twitter message, he termed today's development as the beginning of a new chapter.
