Former Congress leader Padmaja Venugopal joins BJP

Former Congress leader Padmaja Venugopal, daughter of Congress veteran and former Kerala Chief Minister K Karunakaran, joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in Delhi yesterday. She was inducted in the Party in the presence of BJP MP Prakash Javadekar and other party



leaders.

Addressing a press conference after joining the party, Ms. Venugopal expressed confidence in the strong leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Later on, she also met BJP National President J.P. Nadda.
