The Congress party, Former Minister Gaddam Prasad Kumar, based in Vikarabad (RR), has reportedly announced his exit from the party to join the ruling TRS.
Former Handloom and Textiles Minister along with several local leaders, including several MPTCs and ZPTCs, would be officially joining the TRS by weekend. He served as Minister under Kiran Kumar Reddy’s government. Given the MLC



(Local Authorities Constituency) elections round the corner, he who was in regular touch with the IT, K Taraka Rama Rao for the last few days decided to jump the bandwagon of TRS.
During the recent months, he actively took part in the agitation against the State government over alteration of design for Pranahita-Chevella project. He was serving as Chairman for All-Party Committee on the project.
