Former Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah expresses doubts over functioning of EVMs

Former Karnataka Chief Minister and Congress Legislative Party leader Siddaramaiah has expressed doubts over functioning of the EVMs after the outcome of Urban Local body election which has given highest number of seats to the Congress. 

Speaking to the media persons in Mysuru yesterday, he accused the BJP of manipulating the elections with the help of



EVMs. 

He pointed out that Congress has won the Urban local body election from constituencies where it was defeated earlier in the general election. 

He however added that people vote in local body elections on the basis of the state issues and in the general election based on the national issues.
