Former Odisha CM Gamang quits BRS, joins Congress

Former four-time chief minister of Odisha and nine-time Congress member of Parliament (MP) Giridhari Gamang, who joined Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) on January 2023, has rejoined congress party recently.

Gamang,

a nine-term Lok Sabha MP Odisha quit BJP and joined the BRS in the presence of Telangana then chief minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao.

Gamang asserted that he never left the Congress party’s thoughts and ideology.
