2009.

He underwent a bypass surgery in 1990 and a stenting procedure in 2004.

Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge, currently in Belagavi, Karnataka, for the Congress Working Committee meeting, are expected to leave for Delhi tonight, according to party sources. Senior party leader Sonia Gandhi is also likely to reach AIIMS shortly, sources added.

The Congress has cancelled a rally planned as part of the CWC meeting in Belagavi in view of Singh's deteriorating health condition.
