Former principal of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital Dr. Sandip Ghosh suspended

Former principal of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata,  Dr. Sandip Ghosh has been suspended yesterday. The West Bengal Health and Family Welfare Department has issued his suspension order last evening.

Earlier, Dr Sandip Ghosh and three others were remanded to CBI custody till 10th of September. They were arrested



by the CBI yesterday night in the corruption case related to alleged financial irregularities in the institution.

The other three persons were Biplav Singha, Suman Hazra the vendors of the R G Kar Medical College and Afsar Ali Khan the personal security guard of Sandip Ghosh.
