Patna: Former Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad has questioned the authenticity of the recently released Bihar Caste-Based Survey by the State government. Talking to the media in Patna yesterday Mr. Prasad said many people said data was being released but no one asked them about their caste. He said, widespread manipulation and fudging have taken place in data entry

including his family.

The senior BJP leader said that the castes who oppose Lalu Prasad and Nitish Kumar, their number has been diminished in the Survey. Mr. Prasad also alleged that the Nitish Kumar-led government has tried to divide Extremely Backward Classes (EBCs) by the survey.
