Four people died after explosion occurred in Nagapattinam, Tamil Nadu

In Tamil Nadu, four people died on the spot after an explosion occurred in the Nagapattinam district during the manufacturing of firecrackers yesterday. Due to the explosion, body parts of the deceased were scattered over a distance of about 100 meters at various places, making their identification



difficult.

District SP Harish Singh informed that there were eight people inside the factory at the time of the incident. Injured persons were taken to Nagapattinam Government Hospital for further treatment. Police have filed a case and arrested a person.
