In Jammu and Kashmir, four terrorists were killed in three separate overnight operations by security forces. Two terrorists of Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed were killed after an encounter broke out in the Chewaklan area of Pulwama.
Another terrorist linked to Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) was killed after an encounter broke out in the Serch area of Ganderbal district. Police said, one LeT terrorist was
killed in an encounter in Nechama, Rajwar area of Handwara.
Inspector-General of Police (Kashmir) Vijay Kumar said that security forces launched joint operations at four to five locations on Friday night which led to the killing of two JeM terrorists and two LeT terrorists. He said, security forces have also nabbed one terrorist alive. Encounters in Handwara and Pulwama are over.
