Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Singh Thakur has stressed that no government has done more for farmers than what the Narendra Modi government has done in the last 10 years as regards fertiliser, water, MSP, loans from banks and compensation.
Talking to media in Delhi on Friday, Mr Thakur said the government had invited
farmers' organisations for talks and meaningful discussions took place.
He said the next round of talks have been scheduled for Sunday. He expressed confidence that there will be a good atmosphere in the talks and they will move forward towards resolving the issues.
