The full bench of the Election Commission of India will be visiting West Bengal next week to take stock of the law and order situation and the poll preparedness ahead of Assembly elections.
The full bench, led by Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora will be reaching Kolkata on Wednesday. The CEC is likely
to meet the senior administrative officials including the chief secretary, home secretary, DGP as well as DMs and SPs of the districts.
Deputy Election Commissioner Sudip Jain has recently visited Kolkata and held meetings with the senior officials of the state administration.
