Goa: The full bench of Election Commission of India arrived in Goa to take stock of preparations for Assembly Elections in the state. They include Chief Election Commissioner Sushil Chandra and Election Commissioners Rajiv Kumar and Anup Chandra Pandey.

The ECI team will hold meetings with Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Police Nodal Officer, Enforcement Department and representatives of political parties today. The ECI will also interact with Election Icons, District Election Officers and Superintendents of Police



today.

They will launch Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) initiative, ECI voters guide and various other IT modes that will be implemented during the elections process.

Tomorrow, the ECI team will hold meetings with State government representatives including the Chief Secretary, Home Secretary, Director General of Police and others.

Goa is likely to go to polls early next year along with Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand and Manipur.
