Bengaluru: As part of the G20 India Presidency, the 14th Y20 consultations will begin in Bengaluru today. The National Institute of Mental Health, NIMHANS, and Union Ministry of Youth Affairs have organized this two days event where 282 delegates from G20 member countries and invitees will hold consultations on the theme ‘Health, Wellbeing and sports’. 

During the consultations, young leaders, policymakers, experts, and stakeholders will discuss and address critical issues related to youth empowerment, welfare, healthcare, nutrition, Yoga, substance abuse, and how to treat injuries during road accidents.

artistic yoga is also organized. There will also be a cultural exchange and a food festival. An exhibition showcasing Indian organizations working with youth is also organized on the sidelines. The delegates will also be taken to tourist destinations in Bengaluru city. The Karnataka Medical Education minister Dr Sharanprakash Patil, Member of Parliament Tejasvi Surya, former minister of Youth and Sports Development from Nigeria Sunday Akin Dare, Director of NIMHANS Dr Pratima Murthy and Union Youth Affairs Ministry Under Secretary Ravi Kumar Sinha will be among those present during the Y20 Consultations inaugural event today.
