Prime Minister Narendra on Wednesday was accorded a grand welcome at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) office in New Delhi for the successful conduct of the G20 Summit. PM Modi visited the party office to take part in the party's central election committee meeting.

Top BJP leadership discussed the name of 25 candidates for the Madhya Pradesh Assembly election at CEC meeting, said sources.

A resolution was passed by the Bharatiya Janata Party Parliament Board congratulating PM Modi on the completion of the G20 summit in India.

The resolution reads, "The coming generations will remember the 2023 Summit as the one in which the African Union was given full membership of the G 20. This is in line with PM Modi's vision to ensure that

the Global South has a strong representation in such bodies. PM Modi's desire to deepen engagement with Africa was seen during the 2015 India-Africa Summit in New Delhi, in which all African Heads of State/ Government took part. Among the first endeavours of India's G 20 Presidency was to child the Global South Summit. The inclusion of the African Union in the G 20 has been met with great appreciation, especially by all those who are passionate about serving those on the margins of the global conversation on development."

This was the Prime Minister's first visit to the party office after the conclusion of the multi-nation annual summit in the national capital. According to the information, thousands of party workers from NCR will reach the BJP headquarter for this occasion.
