Bhopal: The first G20 Working Group meeting of Culture will start from today at Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh. The four-day meeting will conclude on 25th this month. More than 125 delegates from G20 members will attend the meeting.
Union Minister for Culture and Tourism G.Kishan Reddy; MP Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Dr. Virendra Kumar and Union Minister of State for Culture Smt Meenakshi Lekhi will inaugurate an exhibition titled “Readdress: Return of
Treasures” at the Maharaja Chhatrasal Convention Centre today.
Cultural programs will be organised including the Khajuraho Dance Festival for the foreign delegates. The delegates will also visit the Western Group of Temples, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. They will also be taken to Panna Tiger Reserve. On the first day of the working group meeting of culture, Padam Shri Nek Ram known as the Millet man is invited to celebrate the International Year of Millets.
