Indian Army Chief General Bipin Rawat, all seven Army Commanders and other senior officers are in Srinagar today to review border security and overall operational preparedness.
General Bipin Rawat will interact with top commanders and all key officials on the security situation along the border and discuss operational and logistical preparedness.
Earlier, the meeting was scheduled to be held in Delhi but later it was shifted to Jammu and Kashmir to reassure the nation that security forces are in complete control in the Valley, sources said.
Army also wants to assure that it is committed



to safeguard country's sovereignty, integrity and maintain peace in the Valley.
