Textiles Minister Giriraj Singh attended the Shilp Didi Mahotsav yesterday, which is ongoing at Delhi Haat in New Delhi from the 16th to the 31st of August. This fortnight-long event showcases handicraft creations from all over the country, offering the art-loving public a glimpse of various crafts marketed by the Shilp Didis.

During his visit, the Textiles Minister also interacted with



the artisans to understand their challenges and encouraged them to further develop entrepreneurship. He advised the craftswomen to utilise social media in their economic journey.

The primary objective of the program is to foster economic empowerment and financial independence among female artisans throughout India.
